In this three-part course you will be guided through the process of making a set of ceramic bookend planters. This class combines the two main forms of ceramics—wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques—to create two bookends. This is an advanced beginner class. Students should have a basic level of wheel throwing skills such as centering, pulling walls, and trimming. What You'll Learn: - Learn methods to throw a planter with an attached drip tray. - Learn and use handbuilding techniques to create two separate bookends from a single thrown planter. - Take home a fully finished set of bookend planters. Students must cancel their registration at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. After 48 hours, we will refund up to 75% of the registration fee. Coco-op is an adult space.
